Mr Young is a senior consultant Neurosurgeon and former department chairman at the National Department of Neurosurgery, Beaumont Hospital, Dublin 9, specialising in microscopic spinal surgery, spinal trauma, head injury, brain tumours and neurovascular disorders such as aneurysms and subarachnoid haemorrhage.
He has over twenty five years experience as a consultant and still contributes regularly to an on-call rota. He is a member of the Society of British Neurological Surgeons and is on the Working Group for the National Office for Traffic Medicine in Ireland. He is a former examiner in neurosurgery for the Joint Colleges of Surgeons in the UK and Ireland.
Mr Young has extensive experience in medico-legal reporting with associated High Court appearances, commenting all aspects of personal injury.

Court Attendance
